My Story.

Hi there! My name is Ki Ristia (pronounced Ka-ris-ta) Allen-Lampe, and I am the owner and nurse practitioner of Superior Associates Mental Health & Wellness, PLLC.

This practice was created from my desire to provide truly individualized care to each patient, free from the corporate oversight that often dictates care in other medical settings.

As a double board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner, I am passionate about delivering personalized care that recognizes mental health as a central component of overall physical health. I believe effective treatment begins with understanding the whole person—not just a symptom or diagnosis—and honoring the close connection between mind and body.

With more than a decade of experience as a nurse practitioner and over fifteen years in the nursing profession, I bring a depth of clinical experience to my practice. My background supports a collaborative approach to care that prioritizes patient-provider communication, empathy, and evidence-based medicine to develop individualized treatment plans that promote long-term mental and physical health. Real care for real life.

Approach & Services

Superior Associates Mental Health & Wellness provides individualized psychiatric evaluation and medication management grounded in whole-person wellness. Care is evidence-based, therapy-informed, and coordinated with your primary care provider or specialists when needed.

We are not a traditional primary care office. Services are offered in person and via secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth when clinically appropriate and in accordance with Illinois regulations.

  • Psychiatric medication management services include comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment of mental health conditions. Care is individualized and guided by current clinical guidelines, patient goals, and safety considerations.

Medication decisions are made thoughtfully, with attention to diagnostic clarity, effectiveness, potential side effects, and long-term treatment planning. Visits are therapy-informed and may incorporate supportive, cognitive-behavioral, and psychoeducational interventions as appropriate.

Telehealth services may be utilized when clinically appropriate and permitted by state and federal guidelines. In-person visits are required when indicated for patient safety, diagnostic clarity, or regulatory reasons.

  • Wellness-focused evaluations are offered to support preventive care and identify medical factors that may influence mental health and overall functioning. These visits may include a comprehensive review of health history, medications, lifestyle factors, and appropriate screening or laboratory studies.

When laboratory testing is obtained, results are reviewed and interpreted in detail, with education provided to support patient understanding and informed decision-making. If findings suggest the need for ongoing medical management or specialized care, coordination with the patient’s primary care provider or referral to an appropriate specialist is recommended.

These services are intended to complement—not replace—ongoing primary care.

  • Evaluation of select acute symptoms may be provided on a limited basis when clinically appropriate. These visits focus on assessment, clinical guidance, and determining whether further medical evaluation or referral is needed.

This service is not intended to function as urgent care or comprehensive medical management, and referrals are made when a higher level of care or ongoing treatment is indicated.

  • Collaboration with primary care providers, therapists, and other healthcare professionals is encouraged to support coordinated, whole-person care. Open communication and appropriate referrals are integral to maintaining safe, effective, and individualized treatment plans.

If you need services outside our scope, we can recommend appropriate primary care providers, therapists, or specialists to support continuity and safety of care.
